Breeanna was invited to to Peter Taylor's 6th birthday party.
There was a contest to see which team could build the tallest Legos. The girl's team won.
07:14 AM Betty's Weekly Summary: Our bird feeders have brought some interesting visitors. Breeanna balances herself at the head of the couch in our front room and watches the birds perch on the feeders. Sometimes the birds perch on the handle of my scooter which is parked nearby. Breeanna tells me how many birds come and what they're doing. Bryan's school had a book sale last week and I bought him two Big Nate books. That night Breeanna slept with her stuffed animals and Bryan slept with his book. Bryan graduated in Cub Scouts this week from Bear to Webeblos. Thanks to amazing leaders in our troop, scouting has been sooo much fun for Bryan. Breeanna attended a Princess Tea Party at the library this week, which was an important occassion for her as she is all about princesses. Betty

09:00 AM Betty's Weekly Summary: The forecast predicted a week of thunderstorm but what we got was glorious sunshine. The three birdfeeders that we put up had few visitors this week. Breeanna got to spend an evening with Aunt Cathy, her all time favorite person in the world and mastered her bicycle (with training wheels) riding skills. Bryan got his first ever Swiss Army knife, an milestone in a boy's life...as previously he was not allowed to handle knives. I made an amazing discovery, www.watchknow.org. There are over 23,000 educational videos that are kid safe, for preschool through 12th grade. It's been so fun to watch a camel do a rap song on adaptation. This web site is a favorite with teachers and homeschoolers. Betty

Betty's Weekly Summary: We have had two days of sunshine in a row... without rain...I'm pinching myself to make sure it's real. This morning Breeanna woke up and shared with me her ryhme. 'Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum. I'm going to eat someone.', she said. Then she told me that giants use people's bones to make bread. Bryan came into the room and refuted that and said that he was a giantnologist. (...as far as I know there was no a such thing...) I guess that ended our conversation because how am I going to argue with a giantnologist about giants. Betty
