This Easter our family got engrossed in Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. I read to the kids almost the entirety of Book 1. We discussed the meaning of the Ten Commandments, baked chocolate cake, fried rice and the children gathered plastic eggs with candy inside. Bryan's stash of eggs turned up missing. All eyes fell on Breeanna, who pointed the finger at me as the candy thief. Her allegation did not convince Bryan as he knows I have no sweet tooth, however; Breeanna has a history of secretly making off with candy. We know from finding candy wrappers under chairs, behind bookshelves and other unlikely places.
